The location of your accommodation is the question, in your trip plan, which you should give more priority to, can be the difference between success and failure of your visit. It is more beneficial to pay a little more and being in a central location than save and staying far from everything. So choose well your accommodation.

There are four areas that we highlight as relevant; to us they are the most important for your visit.

  • Aliados area - In the center of Porto, this area gives you access to the most symbolic places of the city, many of them between 10/15 minutes’ walk. Another advantage is the Trindade Metro station which provides access to all lines of the Porto metro;
  • Batalha area - Very close to the Alaidos area, this area also gives you access on foot to the most emblematic sites of Porto is less central but still is close to everything;
  • Ribeira area - In (or near) the Douro river margins, this area is the most historic/Old of Porto;
  • Boavista area - The Boavista area is called the "business area" of Porto. Because it has the metro station very close (Casa da Música Station) it is easily to go to the many places of the city, in this area we emphasize the Casa da Música (Music House).
