Tram Museum

Features a collection of trams and trailers cars that circulated in the city and which marked the history of urban transport on city tracks.
In the Tram Museum you can see, carefully restored and preserved, since the first horse-drawn vehicles, to the most modern tram, the 500.

Some of the compositions still circulate in the few remaining lines in the city if you have time take a ride on the tram.

  • Location: Alameda Basílio Teles, 51, 4150–127 Porto Portugal.
  • Opening hours: Mondays from 14h00m to 18h00m; Tuesdays to Sundays from 10h00m to 18h00m (last admission 30 min before closing time). Closed: Afternoon of December 24, December 25 and January 1.
  • Prices: Adults: 8.00€; Children's under s 6 years: free.
  • How to get there: By bus: Use bus 500 (Matosinhos - Mercado) at Aliados and exit at bus stop Museu Carro do Eléctrico (Tram Museum Bus Stop).
    Go back to Aliados Avenue: Use bus 500 (Praça da Liberdade) at Bicalho Bus Station and exit at Aliados Avenue.
    If you bought the Andante Tour you can use it.
